In the middle of nowhere and in the deep south of the Peloponnese, 40 minutes from Neapolis towards of Agios Nikolaus, you will find the signs “petrified forest”.This is a small corner of paradise where peace and silence reign. In this almost lunar landscape, there are remains of petrified tree trunks due to various natural phenomenas, then fossilised by the rising sea. It all dates back to two / three million years ago. The scenery is even more surprising for the fusion of the colours of the sea with the deserted coast.
This remote place deserves a visit that regenerates the body and mind.
